Final reflection

- My english progress:

Overcoat I have improved the structure of my posts and I use better connectors.
At the start of BATX I do my posts looking all the time the dictionary and asking to the people how to say something, and I spend a lot of time. Now, maybe I don't make so better posts, but I do it wit more fuelncy.

Well, I don't like to do the comparation with my final oral presentation because I have done it so quickly and I think that it don't represent my final level.

- My English COMPETENCE in 2010:

· I think my best oral exposition is the TDR presentation, ut i haven't the link. In my opinion, this presentation is better than otherones because I speak about a topic which I really love and I like to talk about it, because I'm so proud about my work made during every day of the last year.

I have chose this post because I have used so much my means and I also talk about a interesting topic wich I love and it's speacially exciting when you play a Basketball match 2 players versus 5 players and yo do a great match. I think it's a correct writting and is a little extensive.

My oral exposition

News: Regal Barça wins the Euroleague!

Yesterday, sunday 8th of may, Regal FCB plays the final of the Euroleague versus Olympiacos Piraeus. Since the first minute, Regal Barça imposed his game style and domineted the scoreboard during all the match. A thing to emphasize is that Lakovic and Jordi Trias only played the 4 finally minutes.
FCB shown all Europe he's dooing an excelent season and nowadays he's the best european basketball team.

New: F.C. Barcelona wins Sevilla.

Today, Saturday 8th of may, FCB have won a very important match to win the Spanish League. So early, at the 4th minute, Leo Messi scored the first goal. After some minutes, Bojan and Pedro scored a goal.
At the half time, barça team was winning by 0-3, but in five minutes Sevilla scored two goals. Finally, the referee blow the end of the match.
With this victory FCB have a easy way to win the Spanish League.

New: CSKA Moscou vs. Regal Barça in Final Four 2010

Last Friday CSKA Moscou and Regal Barça played a basketball match of the European semifinals. Barça, doing a bad game, could win CSKA in a handy way. At the start of the match, CSKA had dominated scoreboard and Barça was so nervous because their key players didn't have luck with their accions. After ten minuts, Xavi Pascual's boys could take some difference and played much more better.
Although they aren't playing as they could play, at the half time Barça was winning with nine point of difference. Finally, two teams had been neck to neck and Barça won the first match of Final Four 2010 by 64 - 54.

On Sunday, Barça will play vs. Olympiacos.

A letter to my parents

Dear mum and dad, 26-03-10

Hi, I hope you are fine. I think you might be a little bit worried about me and my situation in Cameroon. For this reason I write this letter to you.
Obviously I'm not so fine like at home with you and all my friends, but here I see a lot of difficult cases and I acquire a lot of expirience.
African people is very extroverted and give us all what we need. We live in a separeted house because there are a lot of animals and dangerous mosquitoes.

Barraques of Figueres

Hi students!
I hope the word Barraques will get you a little bit less under stress jeje
Well... I really don't think it, because there are only two barraques weekends, and the first it rained all the day and all the night, and for this reason a lot of us didn't go to barraques last weekend, and this weekend... I wont to talk about this weekend... I think we can't go to barraques because as I have sayed in the other post, this week we have a lot of exams.
Then, I can say that in my opinion, this year the barraques are so odious, because I want to go but I know I can't go...

So, now I'll talk you about our following week because as you know, is the last.
Well, we have had two orror weeks with a lot of exams and homeworks but... the worst is the next week. Next week we have an exam every day, and if you want to say that english reading test is an exam, we have more than one exam per day.
I know everybody now is in her house studyng or doing homeworks because is the only way to pass the exams of the following week.

Then... I wont to distract you from you work...so... that's all. :P

SKA music

Well, as you know I love ska music, and I know that I have wrote another post about the ska, but all the tastes changes. I continue listening to ska, but now I listen some diferent groups, I listen more english and catalan groups like Mad Caddies, Hepcat, Skatalà, Descarats... I know this gropus for a lot of time but I love them more than never xD. Maybe I listen more ska music now because during 2 months I havent't gon to any ska concert and the next week I will go to a Skatalà concert. Skatalà Is a catalan ska group who plays ska since 1985, they are maybe the first catalan ska group. The stoped to play for 10 years and this year they do only 8 concerts in catalonia, for this reason I'm waiting for the concert.

Guillem Sanz

Hi people, today I will talk you about Sanz, one of my best friends.
Well, everybody knows Guillem, right?
As you know,he is 17 years old and study second of batxillerat. Guillem is a very extroverted boy, and he love football and funny things. Obviously, we aren't united by the football, because I'm so bad in fotball, we are so friends because we love spend the time laughing together.
I know that every day that I dont have any thing to do, I can phone Sanz and we met to see APM? videos, funny videos or funny films.
Wel... we aren't only units by the funny things, we also really love ska music, and we are allways listening to ska and everytime we are together, we dance som ska. For this reason, next saturday we will go to Baratos concert and the thursday 26th we will go to Skatalà concert in Girona.

My immediately future

Well, I'm going to talk about my plans for next months.
First of all, I want to pass technologic batxillerat, then I want to pass selectivitat exams. It doesn't matter my marks because I want to do a mechanic engineering in Girona's university, and the mark what I need is a five point four.
During the first year of mechanic engineering I'll return every day at home with David Martín, but maybe another year I could stay at Girona in a flat with some friends.
So... I'm sure I want to do mechanic engineering, but I don't know what I'll do when I finish the university, maybe I will do some studies more.

Well, I hope to continue seeing you when we were in the university.

APM?

Hey guys, how are you?
Today I will talk you about a TV program called "Alguna Pregunta Més?".
This TV program is broadcasted every twesday at 22:00 in TV3.
APM? is a humor program which make a little part of zapping, a part of mixing images and videos to make a sequence of relacioneted funny situations, then, they do a interview of a famous person who make a lot of mistakes in TV, and finally they do a summary of the 10 better videos of the week.
I really love AMP? and I'm allways saying the APM? famous sentences in te diferent situations. But I'm not the onlyone who says APM? sentences, for example Julia Turró also says good coments.

My no-londoner days

Hi everybody,
Today I will talk you about my days while you were in London.
I have sleept a lot, and I have watched the TV, and some days I've played som games.
One day, I have been in Figueres, because I wanted to buy some clothes things and BBalls for my airsoft gun.
Yes, there are a good days, but I miss my friends to dance some nights and talk about funny things.For these reasons, sometimes I have been so bored.
Then, I hope when you return, we will go to saturday concert and enjoy a lot, because I'm expecting to dance a lot of ska in Baratos concert.

Snow days

Hey guys, as you know the twesday 9th, have snow in the most of Catalunya, but specially in the Girona's provincie. In Castelló, started to snow the 8th at 11 o'clock, and for security reasons we have leaved the High school. The most of students have been all the day in the parks playing with the snow. But then, we have known that there aren't light in the houses, and the people lived two days without light and heating. In my house, I only have vitro coocker, and for this reason the first night i haven't ate anything hot. The segond day, I've continued playing with the snow and then I have ate hot because I've done a barbacue. When the light comes, I have watched the TV, and the news sayed a lot of towns will be without light during a week, for this reason I think that we have had a lot of luck. Email presentation

Hey Sonia.

My girldfriend was next to me when I wrote the e-mail, and she correct me 2 or 3 times about the plural of the atjectives, but someone has scaped to me.
Well, you ask about my dreams... I don't know... I'm a person who every day have one motivation, this motivation can be a grat thing, but it's not necessary, sometimes a little interesting event or a neew piece for my motorbike .
Every time, I thing about my motivations, you can check it in my school table, duryng a time, I draw every day things about SKA music, another time I draw things about my TDR and now I usually draw things about AIRSOFT. Airsoft is a interesting sport that I practice. You'll know a little bit about airsoft in a post that I will do, but I advance a little iformation now: Is a game like paint ball but more ralistic, the gus are exact replicas of the real guns, and they shoots 6mm plastic balls.

Well, I will tell you some things about my TDR.
I thing that my TDR is a so diferent TDR. I do a radio control boat whit oil engine.
So, all my friends says " ouch... thoday I must do TDR", but I'm diferent, I'm every day waiting for a piece for start work and enjoy about my TDR.

Well, I start my presentation.

I'm Albert Fusté, I'm from Castelló and I'm the laia's brother.
My hobbies are airsoft, basketball, mountainboard and the RC world. You'll see that I'm going to do some posts in my blog about this things.

Last year I went to the class of people who didn't understand English very well. People hasn't got a good level, for these reason the hours class were so boring and every time we practiced grammar.
In this weeks I have seen that this year the hours class will be so diferent. They will be more practicals.

And finally, my bigest motivation, my girlfriend
She's 17, she's from Perelada, she co to school to Figueres and she also plays basketball. Her name's Irene.
We are together since 1 year and 7 months ago.
Although she's from Perelada, we spend all the weekend together and she come at my home one hour every twesday and thhursday.
Last sumer and the another, we work together in festival of Perelada and I can say you that I lived all the sumer in her house xD.

My evaluation

presentation:
In our oral presentation we used a powerpoint and videos, and we have relacionated the explanation with the resources. So, I think that our mistake is the timing, becouse the presentation only last 10 minutes. Mark: 7'5

Body language and eye contact:
befor I watch the video of the oral exposition, i think that i looked the audience a lot of time, but now I know that I must improve this thing, becouse i maybe don't hold all the attention of the audience. I don't read a lot of time from my notes.

Structure:
I think that we have doned a very good job with the structure of the exposition. We have organized all the topics and we have introduced them to the audience. In the exposition, we use conectors an markers. We repeat only the most important things for try to help the audience to remember it. Mark: 8'5

Content:
We have choised a very interesting topic, because everyone knows the name of Microssoft and Mac, but only a very little part of the class know's something about the Mac opereting sistems and a lot of details. I thing that we have get the audience attention using a opinions, questions and examples. Mark: 8'5

Language:
I tryed to introduce some modal verbs and another things to impove my language, and i don't repeat any word during the exposition. I use some fillers like well or for example. Mark: 8

Pronunciation & Intonation:
One problem with the powerpoint have influences in my exposition, and for these reason I have done a interruption.
Well, i know that my pronunciation can improve a lot, and for this reason I'll work to improve it for my next oral exposition. Mark: 7

Surgery new: New robot era in surgery

A NEW era in surgery has begun in Oxford with surgeons using a four-armed robot to perform operations on cancer patients.

It's a so hopeful advance for people who have cancer and it's interesting to see that the technology is helping a lot of people.

I think that a robot can do the same work than a surgeon, but with more precision and without feelings.

The only bad thing that I can see in the robot is people maybe don't like to be operated by a robot for the possibility of have an error.

So, what do you prefer? To be operated by a robot or by a surgeon?

My new: Energizer Bunnies: Turning Rabbits into Green Fuel

Sweden's Tommy Tuvuynger and his team of professional hunters don't have to go far to find their prey. Tuvuynger is employed to keep down rabbit numbers in the Swedish capital, Stockholm. The rabbit population there has exploded over the past few years thanks to owners setting free their pets. Last year the eradication squad killed 6,000 of the furry critters, which are not native to Sweden. When the city started killing the rabbits in 2006, officials realized they would have to dispose of their carcasses. At around the same time, the European Union passed a law that makes it illegal to dispose of raw meat or carcasses in landfills. Solution: use the bunnies as fuel to heat Swedish homes.

Well guys, I think that it's a very interesting and unfair new. On the one hand, I can understand the government, because it's not good to have a lot of rabbits in the city, and if they can't throw away the carcasses, it's not unfair to use them as fuel.

But, on the other hand, I think that it's not rabbits' fault that a lot of people set free their pets.

For this reason, I'm not decided to support any position.

My christmas' plans

Hi people, I think that everyone look forward to christmas holidays.

In special, the second of batxillerat students, because in christmas holidays we will have finished the research project. It means that we'll have a lot of time to study and enjoy the holidays.

For this reason, I'm going to talk about my christmas' plans.
On the first days of the first week, I'll try to do a lot of enjoying things, like airsoft games or mountainboard races, and rest. On the finally days of this week, I'll visit some of my friends and I'll go to Barcelona to meet my family.

On the second week, I'll try to do all my homework, stay with my family and think about the new year party, wich will maybe in some disco or Saint Petter Fisherman.

Finally, on the last week, I'll have to study for the chemistry retake exam. Well, I hope I'll only have to study for chemistry.

So...Now you know my plans, I'd like to know something about your christmas' plans.
